First, a preform tube is made from a polymer, which is also referred to as a parison. This parison is then heated to the appropriate temperature and then the tube is inflated with air to create the desired hollow shape. This process can then be repeated to create mass amounts of the same product which are able to be intricately designed at a minimal cost.
